Production of Moldovan wine is carried out with passion, care, and expertise. It is produced from local and European grape varieties, hand-picked from the hillside vineyards and those adapted to the local terroir. Care is taken to maintain the authenticity and traditional style of winemaking, producing amazing wines to be enjoyed locally and across the world.

Wine Regions
In the Republic of Moldova there are 4 regions for the production of wine products with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). They are Codru, Ștefan Vodă, Valul lui Traian and Divin. Each region is run by an association of wine producers with PGI. All 4 PGIs are protected both in the Republic of Moldova and in the EU.

Chateau Vartely Winery

Château Vartely is considered a pearl of the Moldovan wine industry and the calling card of the Republic of Moldova.

Over 100,000 local and foreign tourists have visited and appreciated this place since its foundation. Situated on a hill near the Orhei town, Château Vartely offers a stunningly beautiful view and outstanding architecture. Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the restaurant, accommodation in one of the 3 tourist villas and taste wine collection in one of the two tasting rooms. The pride of the winery is the collection of Château Vartely wines that have been awarded over 300 medals at prestigious international competitions.

The Individo wine is the result of the winemakers’ work aimed at achieving a harmonious and selective combination of each individual variety. It is a wine with a pronounced individuality that transcends into sensational aromas.
