“Shine at ‘Effervescents du Monde’: Wines of Moldova, Recognized with 5 Gold and 7 Silver Medals”

We want to proudly announce the beautiful results obtained by our winemakers at the “Effervescents du Monde” contest in France, held between November 28-30.

Our wines have been honored with valuable distinctions, including 5 gold and 7 silver medals. ONVV supported the participation of 14 wine companies from Moldova, including: Asconi Winery, Apriori Wine, Radacini, Chateau Vartely Winery, Aurelius Winery, Vinum.md SRL, Purcari Wines, Maurt SRL and Combinatul de Vinuri “CRICOVA” S.A.. At the edition since 2023, which was an anniversary, 19 countries participated and a total of 470 wines were presented.

We appreciate the hard work of the winemakers and are proud that our sparkling wines are becoming more and more appreciated worldwide.

The Spectacular Results: “Moldovan Wine” National Competition – 2nd Edition”.​

We are pleased to announce the results of the 2nd edition of the “Wine of Moldova” National Contest, which took place on November 9 and 10 at Digital Park.

We remind you that at this edition, 60 wine companies from the country presented 307 wine samples for judging. The wines were appreciated by a special jury, made up of wine experts from Romania, the Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Georgia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia and Moldova.

In total, 92 medals were awarded, which means that about 30% of the participating samples were awarded. In addition to the 80 gold and 6 silver medals, 6 Grand Gold medals were also won by the following wineries: Casa Vinicola Luca, Fautor Winery, Castel Mimi and Purcari Wines.

This year’s diplomas will be awarded during the Wine Opening, which will take place on December 15 at the Palace of the Republic.

Good news for Moldovan wine lovers!

We proudly announce that in a short time, the 2nd edition of the “Wine of Moldova” National Competition will be held in Chisinau. The event will take place on November 9 and 10 at Digital Park, where 60 wine companies from the country will present 294 wine samples for judging.

The samples will be judged by wine experts from the country, but also by specialists from abroad, who will come to Chisinau from Romania, the Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Georgia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The winners of the contest will be awarded at the Wine Vernissage, which will take place on December 15 at the Republic Palace. We are eagerly awaiting the results, to find out which are the best Moldovan wines, wines that we will have the opportunity to fully enjoy at the Wine Opening.

The “Wine of Moldova” National Contest is dedicated to wines produced from local varieties, wines produced from new varieties of Moldovan selection, wines obtained by assembling them with those from European varieties, blended wines obtained from assembling European varieties, as well as spirits of winemaking origin .

The “Wine of Moldova” competition is organized by the National Vine and Wine Office with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, with the support of the strategic partner – USAID Moldova, through the rural competitiveness and resilience project.

33 medals for Moldavian Wine!

We are extremely happy to share with you the impressive results obtained by Vinul Moldovei at the prestigious international competition Selections Mondiales des Vins Canada.

Wine of Moldova supported participation in this remarkable event with 42 wine samples, representing 27 wine companies from our country: Chateau Cojusna, Migdal-P, Vinia Traian, Purcari Wines, Fautor Winery, Castel Mimi, Mileștii Mici, Vinaria din Vale, Vinuri Ialoveni SA, Domeniile Cuza, Aromint Lux, Salcuta, NOVAK Winery, Chateau Vartely Winery, Tartcomvin, Apriori Wine, “Slobozia Mare” Wine Factory and Tomai Vinex.

Our producers brought home exactly 33 medals, of which 22 gold, 5 silver and 6 Grand Gold medals. Thanks to this exceptional performance, our country entered the top 50 medaled wines in the competition.

Congratulations to all our winemakers for these extraordinary achievements. These outstanding results are a tribute to your passion, work and dedication in producing wines of exceptional quality.

Moldovan wines were appreciated and awarded gold and Grand Gold medals at the Concorso Enologico Internazionale Città del Vino 2023

We are happy to tell you that at the Concorso Enologico Internazionale Città del Vino 2023 Moldovan wines were appreciated and awarded with gold and Grand Gold medals.

According to the organizers, around 60 experts and representatives of various sectors participate in the tasting sessions of this competition every year, including oenologists, importers, technicians and journalists from Italy and abroad, who are given the opportunity to get to know more the participating wines and the territories they come from.

In this competition, ONVV supported, with the help of strategic partner USAID, 68 wine samples from 22 producing companies.

The wineries came home from this competition with a total of 17 medals – 5 Grand Gold and 12 Gold medals.

We congratulate and wish them continued success to the companies Fautor Winery, Vinuri Ialoveni SA, Timbrus Purcari Estate, Combinatul de Vinuri “CRICOVA” S.A., Vinaria din Vale, Chateau Vartely Winery and Asconi Winery!

In the “Challenge International du Vin”, Moldovan wines won 55 medals

A new victory for Moldovan wines!

We are happy to announce a new success for our wines. Within the “Challenge International du Vin”, Moldovan wines won exactly 55 medals, of which 8 gold and 47 silver.

The participation of our winemakers in the competition was possible thanks to ONVV, which supported 37 companies with 72 samples present in the competition.

The “Challenge International du Vin” is a prestigious competition in France, organized in the form of a blind tasting, and is open to all wines and alcoholic beverages made from grapes from around the world (in bulk or bottles), regardless of the year of harvest.

The contest is a true pioneer of international competitions in France, being one of the most famous competitions worldwide.

The manner in which the tastings take place is unique to international competitions, with each tasting panel being composed of 4 members: a technician, a producer, a distributor and an informed consumer. The winning wines thus reflect consumer tastes

Wines from Moldova successfully win the Berliner Wein Trophy! At the most recent edition of this prestigious competition, Moldovan wines were awarded 62 gold medals and one large gold medal, thus confirming their quality and excellent taste.

During this event, 27 companies from Moldova were supported by the National Vine and Wine Office.
This demonstrates the constant efforts and continuous investments of Moldovan producers in developing modern production technologies and improving the quality of wines.

Republica Moldova a câștigat 88 de medalii la cea de-a 32 ediție a concursului internațional de vinuri Mundus Vini

What wonderful news! The Republic of Moldova won 88 medals at the 32nd edition of the Mundus Vini international wine competition. 58 Gold, 4 Grand Gold and 26 Silver for our special wines!

242 experts from 46 countries tasted more than 7500 wines from all over the world during 6 days at this prestigious competition. It is a special achievement to be in the Top 10 most awarded countries, ranking 8th by the number of medals won.

Congratulations to all 34 companies that were supported by the National Vine and Wine Office!
