Vinuri Ialoveni JSC is a winemaking company well known in the Republic of Moldova and abroad, for its famous brand of pelicular wines of Ialoveni (Sherry).

The history of the factory dates back to 1857, when Murzin’s cellars were built for wine production. In those times, after the annexation of Basarabia in 1812 by the Russian Empire, the Murzin’s Cellars, located on the current territory of the factory, became the main supplier of wines in the region.

“Ialoveni” (Shery) is a delicate, unique production in the Republic of Moldova, which has gained its popularity and international fame for its unique taste and aroma. The company produces wines which show finesse and give the feeling of noblesse, refinement, and elegance.

Apart from pelicular wines, the company also produces Vermouth, aromatic wines, strong drinks, brandy and Divin. The collection, strong beverage “Akademos” is the pride of the company. This beverage is not just a drink, but a genuine lifestyle, with a lot of finesse, harmony, and expressiveness. This is also the style of the company, always ad-vocating for high quality and new victories.

The historical traditions of winemakers together with advanced modern technologies have contributed to obtaining high quality wines produced by JSC “Vinaria Ialoveni”.

The over 150 Gold, Silver and 6 Grand Prix medals, obtained at prestigious national and international wine competitions, testify the quality of Vinaria Ialoveni” JSC production.

Ialoveni Sec, Ialoveni Tare

Ialoveni Sec has a pleasant aroma with a floral flavour and a well-formed, slightly spicy taste. Ialoveni Tare has a discreet aroma of fresh rye bread combined with roasted nuts.

Akademos

The Akademos Buchet has an expressive, complex bouquet, a soft, harmonious, bitter-spicy taste, with nuances of fried nutmeg and dried fruit.

Ialoveni Desert

The Ialoveni Desert, reserve of 1990, has a fine bouquet, a harmonious velvety taste, with nuances of citrus, roasted nuts, and chocolate.

Vinum Winery

Vinum is a young brand with century-old historical roots.

The enterprise is a family business with a vast and long tradition in wine production. Its history started two centuries earlier in 1806 when ancestors of today’s owners due to a quirky fate moved from north-eastern Bulgaria to Southern Basarabia (former name of the Republic of Moldova). Since then, nine generations of the same family stayed close to the grapes. From father to son, they share their rich knowledge and experience in growing grapes and producing quality wine. The current generation of the family has over 20 years of experience in the field.

Vinum wines are individually produced, under strict supervision, at a mini winery in the centre of the Republic of Moldova. Manual harvesting along with minimum processing of grapes allow producers to bring and preserve their freshness, aroma, and taste, to be enjoyed by any connoisseur of quality wines.

After benefitting from years of experience in Moldovan winemaking in combination with modern international technologies, these wines represent the embodiment of fertile soils, people’s efforts and the soul inserted in each glass of wine.

Sparkling wine VINUM estate – is a refined wine, created according to the classic technology of the Champagne region, with maturation on yeast. Thanks to the painstaking work on taming bubbles, we have achieved fragrant, delicate sparkling drink that creates an impression of a holiday on any day.

Spumant Viu

VINUM Estate presents SPUMANT VIU, an exclusive wine with a history of over 500 years. The French monks called it Pétillant Naturel or PetNat for short. It appeared before the Classic Champagne. We revived the forgotten recipe and created a drink worthy of Kings and Queens.

The company produces collection wines, ordinary grape wines and non-alcoholic wines. The Chateau Denovie Winery was founded in 1940 and is located in the Valul lui Traian wine region.

Wines “Chateau Denovie Collection”

This is a collection of exclusive wines from local grape varieties, aged wines, and blended wines. These are made according to the classic technology from selected grapes of varieties grown in the South of the Republic of Moldova, in the Valul lui Traian area. The production of this wine is carried out in accordance with modern winemaking technologies.

Wines “Privat Wine Collection”

This is a series of varietal and blended matured wines, made from grapes grown in the Republic of Moldova, in the wine regions Valul lui Traian and Codru. These wines are produced in accordance with modern winemaking technologies.

Wines “Casa Petru Fără Alcool”

This is a series of alcohol-free wines, rich in minerals and vitamins, free of fats. The alcohol is extracted from the wine through a process called vacuum distillation so that the ingredients of a non-alcoholic wine are 99 percent the same as the ones of an alcoholic wine. The difference comes from the percentage of alcohol rather than from the content of iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and the vitamin B complex that are to be found in both categories of wines.

Romanesti Winery

In 1850, the Russian emperor Alexander I, based on a royal decree, established His Majesty’s Winery Romanesti, located in Codrii (the Woods) of Moldova. The winery was developed with the direct input of French winemakers.

In 1917 it became the property of the Basarabian dynasty winemaker, I.V. Cristi, who di-versified the assortment of grapes grown for wine production, along with those for pro-duction of Divins. Thus, in this largest and most technologically advanced company in the region, a section for Divin production was launched, according to the French cognac pro-duction technology. The vineyards of Romanesti estate are located in the central area of the Republic of Moldova, in the Codri forest. Romanesti micro zone is located at the same latitude as Burgundy. The geographical configuration of this micro zone is genuine-ly unique. The hills in the interfluvial space of Cogâlnic and Lunga rivers create a kind of a “cup” which is protected from cold winds. The climatic conditions and soils in this micro zone favour the production of dry red wines, white table wines and aged wines. It is difficult to predict the future, but producers still assume that memories of Romanesti wines’ taste with their harmony, special freshness and unique aroma will become popular and appreciated again, as they did in the times of the Russian Empire.

JSC “Romanesti” is certified according to the international quality assurance system ISO-22000: 2005.

Divin “Romanești”

A 7-year Romanesti divin is a noble drink, which deserves to be enjoyed in a distinguished atmosphere.

Wine “Alb de Romanești”

This is a dry white wine produced from Pinot Gris, Riesling and Traminer grapes. It is a wine with subtle aromas of honey and citrus, well balanced, with a pleasantly refined spicy taste.

Wine “Negru de Romanești”

This is a dry red wine obtained from classic Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Saperavi varieties. The wine has an elegant ruby colour with light nuances of cream.

DAC Winery

The Dac Winery is a young company that started its operation in 2013 in the north of the Republic of Moldova, on a sunny territory, in the middle of an orchard, near the Dniester River, at a distance of about 20 km from the Soroca town, in the Racovăț village.

Along the entire production process, the producer turns the fruit of autumn into a special drink, offering various ranges and types of wines to the taste of those who know how to enjoy the pleasures of life.

In this winery one can find that specific elegant and refined white wine with a floral aroma, refreshing on hot summer days, and also a rich and intense red wine that offers strong and expressive aromas. The range is complemented by the refined rosé wine, a wine that concentrates the aroma of white fruits such as apricots with red aromas as conveyed by strawberry and raspberry. The high-quality dry wines are produced from noble varieties of grapes, protected by the heat of the sun, harvested on fertile vineyards via innovative methods and high-performance European technologies.

The philosophy of the winery is to produce special and distinguished wines that will impress by their quality, at the same time, to offer to the consumer “something usual “.

Wine “DAC Reserv”

It is a ruby-red wine that stands out for its elegant aromas of overripe red fruits and vanilla. The full, velvety taste is followed by a long aftertaste.

Wine “Roșu Domnesc”

It is a wine of garnet red colour with complex aromas of berries and light nuances of wood. The fine taste is well supported by dense tannins, followed by a long aftertaste.

Wine “Balada”

The experts have “blended” the qualities of Sauvignon Blanc, Feteasca Regala and Chardonnay varieties into a blend that acquired a distinct and unique personality.

It is produced from two varieties in an elegant combination. The wine offers a generous bouquet full of aromas of dried red and black fruits, distinguished by spicy nuances.

Wine “Vintage Pinot Noir 2018”

This is a Pinot Noir that attracts with its intensely fruity aromas. The 6 months spent by the wine in the barrel confer the impression of a complex taste, rich in pleasant tannins.

Sparkling “Radacini Reserve”

This is a sparkling wine produced according to the classic French technology “Méthode Champenoise”. It denotes a special personality which harmoniously combines fruity flavour with nuances of maturation.

Maurt Winery

The passion for wine in the Maurt family was passed down from father to son. The company was officially founded in 1996 and originally, it was a family business. The foundation of the state enterprise was laid by the founder Aurel Morar, the current CEO of the company.

The vineyards of the Maurt company have their roots in Nisporeni – a picturesque location surrounded by the Nîrnova brook, that flows into the Prut River, with hardworking people that have the tradition of making good wine in their blood. Here the vines have a special terroir, being stretched over sunny vineyards, and caressed by an ideal climate. Per total, the company has 25 hectares of its own vineyards.

The Maurt company owns a modern wine making factory in Nisporeni, in the protected geographical region of “Codru” and also a bottling plant in Chisinau. The annual production capacity of the company is 10 million bottles (still wines, sparkling wines, balsams, brandy, liqueurs, vodka, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).

Today Maurt is a family of 150 employees, and the company owns many famous brands, well-known far from the country’s borders, including Western Europe. One such brand is Bacio di Bolle, which translates from Italian as “the kiss of the bubbles”, something that can be fully found and enjoyed in every product in this category.

Doina Vin Winery

The Doina Vin is a Moldovan brand produced with passion and care by Borş family.

The winery is located 30 km away from the capital city and has remained true to wine-making traditions for about 150 years. Aimed at guaranteeing the highest quality of wine production and storage, the winery’s equipment and technology was recently modernised. Doina Vin owns 200 ha of vineyards, located in the Codru region, on the same parallel with the South of France and North of Italy. The Codru Forest contains oak and linden trees, with no heavy industry nearby. This is why it is considered one of the most ecological regions of the Republic of Moldova, proud to have been awarded the qualification “The best winery of the Codru region”.

Wine “Attitude 2016”

The Attitude brand promotes art, both on the outside and inside of the glass. The red wine will seduce you with aromas of cherries, sour cherry seeds, chocolate, and spices.

Wine “Bona Flores”

The Bona Flores brand liqueur wines are a refined alternative for vermouth and sherry wines.

Wine “Perla Neagră”

Perla Neagra brand is a limited edition produced from late harvested Chardonnay which will surprise with its intense yellow colour and aroma of yellow apples and lollipops.
